Best Plus Size Clothing 2022

After decades of being underrepresented in fashion, the plus-size apparel market is thriving; according to Statista, it’s worth an estimated $24 billion and growing at a rapid pace. With this explosion of demand comes more options, obviously, which means shopping for plus-size fashion is no longer confined to a handful of speciality stores or limited sections within larger department stores. Instead, everyone from retail giants like Nike to fashion-forward labels like Reformation have embraced more inclusive sizing and released freshly imagined collections that speak to a more diverse audience. Shopping app Her Black Book launches cashback in time for Australian Fashion Week

Premium shopping app Her Black Book has added cashback rewards to its platform ahead of Australian Fashion Week, which kicks off on Monday.

Her Black Book is the brainchild of Sali Sasi and Julie Stevanj, the sisters behind Stylerunner. The pair announced their latest entrepreneurial venture last October, and in February, raised $1.6 million in Seed funding, with ASX-listed Touch Ventures among its backers.

The app is designed to attract and engage Gen Z, Millennials and discerning women who love to shop for fashion and accessories.

Stevanja said the new cashback feature enables brands to give consumers real cash back when they make a purchase during a given promotional window.

“We’re excited to bring cashback rewards  to the women of Australia from many of their favourite brands, including Net-A-Porter, Guess,  Estee Lauder, SSENSE, ModelCo, Jurlique and many more,” she said.

“Females are making purchases  every day across fashion, beauty, travel

Sales at fashion chain Next rise but online shopping dips

High-street fashion chain Next said sales continued to grow although there had been a dip in online shopping as customers returned to shops.

Total full-price sales in the 13 weeks to the end of April were up 21.3 per cent on the same period a year ago, although online sales fell 11 per cent.

Conversely, shop sales jumped 285 per cent on the same period a year ago as a result, Next said.

However, when compared on a three-year basis – the last period before Covid hit – sales in shops remain down by 8 per cent.

Bosses said the high street bellwether remains in good shape for the rest of the year and did not downgrade forecasts as a result of further inflationary pressures.
