Celebrities today, despite being able to afford the best stylists, face the pressure of churning out inspiration-worthy outfits every few hours, if not days. Social media and instant information about celebrity looks have fuelled this new-age need to be stylish on every occasion. However, it is this pressure that sometimes results in the most awkward outfits that cannot be salvaged in any way.

While established fashion icons like Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have often escaped the worst dressed lists, there are a few offenders we’ve found from recent celebrity sightings that cannot be forgiven despite their fame.

Check out the celebs who made it to this week’s list and let us know what you think about these outfits!

Technically there is nothing wrong with Nora’s fit apart from the fact that we’re convinced the floral fabric is actually her bed sheet draped as a strapless dress. The clumped fabric at the back as well as the floor-grazing train do nothing for the overall look apart from lending it a degree of awkwardness.

2. Neha Bhasin and Rashami Desai

Where do we even begin with these two looks? Whoever convinced them to wear these outfits on a reality show broadcast on primetime telly needs to be fired immediately. Rashami’s yellow animal print coord set is still a daring look when compared to Neha’s dark abstract separates. The patch of white, a single criss-cross strap and the drawstrings on her flared bottoms are all weird design elements.

3. Huma Qureshi

For the success bash of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Huma’s tangerine outfit could not have been more blah. At a time when inclusive fashion is one of the key conversations in the industry, Huma’s stylist dressing her in a flared dress with no structure or shape only seems like sabotage.

4. Rakul Preet Singh

Again, there’s nothing technically wrong with Rakul’s promotional outfit for Runway 34 but we wish her stylist went with different shoes and ditched that bandana headband. The pointed-toe heels make the otherwise casual outfit look more night-out ready whereas the colourful scarf just sticks out like a sore thumb. Overall, we’re just confused.
